Business Development Manager (West and East Africa)

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts , serving as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and end-users
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' needs, business objectives, and pain points, and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals, contracts, and other documents
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, track account performance, and develop strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, and share insights with customers and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales in the telecom industry
  • Experience in West and East Africa markets
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, managing customer relationships, and driving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
