Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance in the LATAM region.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Manage and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to meet operational goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams of operational staff to drive performance, foster a culture of accountability, and promote continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, to ensure alignment and integration of operational activities with broader business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational data, and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures across all operational activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation to enhance operational effectiveness and support business growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to support operational needs and drive value-added initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in operations management, preferably in the LATAM region, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of operational principles, processes, and best practices, including lean management and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools is a plus.
