Position Overview:

As the Commercial Director in the mobile industry, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance the overall commercial performance of the company. You will lead a team focused on sales, marketing, partnerships, and business development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and market trends.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development:

Collaborate with senior management to define the commercial strategy, incorporating market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.

Identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and potential partnerships to drive growth and market penetration.


  • Sales Management:

Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive customer acquisition efforts.

Develop sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities.

Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded.


  • Marketing and Branding:

Oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and perception in the market.

Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with sales objectives and overall business strategy.


  • Partnership Development:

Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including mobile operators, retailers, distributors, and technology partners.

Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to drive mutually beneficial outcomes and expand the company's reach.


  • Business Development:

Explore and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

Lead negotiations and due diligence processes for potential business deals, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.


  • Market Analysis and Forecasting:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the mobile industry landscape.

Develop market forecasts and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies and guide future decision-making


  • Team Leadership and Development:

Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the commercial organization.


Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within the mobile industry or related sectors with more than 5 years of experience. Strong understanding of mobile technologies, market dynamics, and industry trends.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. Demonstrated experience in sales management, marketing strategy, and partnership development.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support business activities across the globe.
